Adhyatma: The Journey within

The concept of God is more Abrahamic. Fear of God and Fear of Hell & reward of Heaven are the central themes there. In Indic Traditions, All Nastik traditions like, Buddhist, Jaini and Ajivika are the living examples in the world where the whole community has survived and thrived without concept of the God.

Sanatan is unique among all. In Sanatan there is no concept of God. Its all Brahman. Everything is Brahman here. There is no separate identity of the Jiva (Soul with bodies). Jiva are the manifestations of the primordial Energy-Universal Consciousness depending upon the choices. Consciousness is Universal but the creation is happening continuously because of set of choices, the Prakriti. That is why there are endless variations in the creations.

1. Various religions and philosophies have attempted their own ways to ascertain Truth but no one is closer.
2. Unlike other religious traditions, Sanatan do not intend to keep their flock bonded. Its very organic and evolving like block chain technology.
3. In most of Abrahamic faiths, Heaven and Hell are clearly earmarked. But in Sanatan traditions, there are 7 Lokas (Different Level of Universe) and 14 Bhuvans (Abodes- stoppages of Soul). So there is a concept of parallel universe.
4. Brahman as conceived has no role to change chemicals or constitutions in Sanatan. Its random combinations out of 24 Tattvas (Elements) that are responsible for incessant change in creations. In Sanatan, Brahman is not at all involved in any actions- Karma. But Brahman is embedded in all sentient and non-living through “Nirliptta Bhava”.
5. No one has created God nor God has created anyone. Its just that all beings, sentient or non-living gets manifested due to presence of Brahman, the universal primordial energy.
6. Merger of Souls is the ultimate goal in Sanatan.

7. Soul is not Brahman but Soul is like Brahman. Relationship is very similar to Rays of the SUN and the SUN himself.

7. Yes, since our Soul has all the same Tattava as of Brahman, we are God- Ahum Brahmasmi. When the Soul identify thyself with Brahman with unlimited capacity of creations, the merger of Soul happened.
8. Everything is Brahman here, nothing else. “Neh Nanasti kinchanah”.
9. Brahman is more a facilitator. One draws energies depending upon what we desires. Dark desires draw dark powers and Sattva people draw positive powers to help salvation of the Jivas and otherwise.
10. Indeed merger with Brahman is the purpose of life, the ULTIMATE GOAL for many. To seek the Truth and to know the Truth should be the goal. Vivekananda said to what is the purpose of life? His answer was – To know/attain the divinity within. That experience that we all are divine.
11. This is a good point and a positive ways to look the religious interpretations of Creations and existence of God or God- like consciousness.

One should attempt Adhyatma and travel to the path of a seeker. The path itself brings ultimate bliss, lest the Goalpost. On caution; each one of us has to tread our own unique path in such sojourn as path of others cannot be copied exactly because each one of us are at the different level of awareness. Each one of us are with unique predispositions. The journey is within and outside world including Guru can best help you to elevate the awareness and refine the wisdom to experience the closeness of Truth- the ultimate Reality, Brahman.

At least you have started thinking towards seeking Truth and Reality. The journey within has begun. You have touched pertinent questions.
